Along with the deacon, the priest and the bishop, the Lector is entrusted with the crucial task of making the Word of God come alive by proclaiming it for the Christian assembly. Men, Women and Youth in 5th Grade and up, who feel called to become an important part of the celebration of the Mass by reading from the Lectionary are encouraged to contact the Rectory office at (305) 655-5600 or email ministries@stamiami.org. Training is available once a year.
