Lectors

Along with the deacon and the priest, the Lector is entrusted with the crucial task of making the Word of God come alive by proclaiming it for the Christian assembly. Men, Women and Youth, who have received their Confirmation, and who feel called to become an important part of the celebration of the Mass by reading from the Lectionary are encouraged to email ministries@stamiami.org. Training is available once a year. At this time, there are no trainings scheduled at St. Thomas the Apostle.
