Religious Education (CCD)
Our Religious Education program accompanies families to support the faith formation of children and young people in the Catholic faith, helping them come to know the love of God, grow in prayer, and embrace the teachings of the Church. Through faith formation, participation in Sunday Mass, and preparation for the sacraments, we strive to guide students and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. With loving guidance and dedicated catechesis we hope each child encounters God in a personal way, grow their Catholic identity, and live their faith joyfully within the Church and the world.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM INFORMATION
All of our Sacramental programs are two-years. The first year is a preparation year, and the child will complete the sacrament(s) at the end of the second year. This year, we are introducing a new class, Order of Christian Initiation for Children (OCIC). If your child is 7 or older, and has not been baptized, they will have to take this class. It is a two-year preparation, and the child will complete all Sacraments (Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation) at the respective Easter Vigil. All classes are on Wednesdays, beginning September 9, 2026, and ending May 13, 2027.
